Kensal Voices is SPID Theatre’s latest very exciting youth project. Participants are given the chance to develop professional skills in the creative industry as well as learning about the history of an architectural landmark.

Join award-winning SPID Theatre on a journey through time and re-imagine the hidden past of iconic modernist building Kensal House and its residents through a site-specific performance encompassing the whole estate.
Be part of SPID’s hugely successful heritage project for young people aged 13-25 in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Twentieth Century Society and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
- Form your own company with other young budding performers, designers, producers and theatre technicians.
- Create a unique site-specific performance at Kensal House in SPID’s signature ‘wrap-around’ style.
- Work with a professional mentor and develop your skills.
- Gain an Arts Award.
More than 30 young people have taken part in Kensal Voices so far and attended journalism, design, multimedia, film, drama, music, and architectural workshops run by industry professionals.
Sessions are taking place every Saturday: 7 December 2013 – 8 March 2014, 12-5pm
