JACK BOWMAN – Performance for Radio Workshops

Jack is a freelance actor, voice-over performer, writer, performance tutor, theatre director, an award-winning radio drama and comedy director/producer/showrunner for Wireless Theatre and the Associate Director of LOST Theatre, London.
Previous TV and Film projects include The Sweeney feature film and previous theatre projects include directing the critically-acclaimed revival of The Shakespeare Conspiracy for ACS Random (2012), NewRevue in the autumn 2013, and At Porlock Weir. As a writer, he authored FROZEN, which was performed at the LOST One-Act Festival (2007), receiving a special commendation from Adrian Brown.
At Wireless Theatre, he has written (under his pen name Gareth Parker) for Timothy West and Prunella Scales, and has directed Stephen Fry, Nicholas Parsons, Christopher Timothy, Brian Blessed and Jo Brand, as well as showcasing a large number of up-and-coming audio performers and writers, alongside established industry names. With Robert Valentine, he co-wrote and currently produces the award-winning The Springheel Saga (2010-2014), also for Wireless Theatre, which features Julian Glover, David Benson, Nicholas Parsons, Jenny Runacre, Matthew Kelly, Louis Tamone and Shane Rimmer.
Both Robert and Jack also co-wrote Dead London, the winning entry of the US War Of The Worlds 75thAnniversary Competition (2013). Jack also lectures and teaches, on an occasional basis, at LAMDA and RADA.
