An exciting journey begins!
Yes exciting indeed!
Youth led projects focusing on the distinguished history of Cheltenham Estate (comprises Trellick Tower and Edenham Way) designed by Goldfinger himself. No not the James Bond movie with the all too famous line “A martini. Shaken, not stirred“.
It’s no secret that estates have a familial centralised reputation, and Cheltenham Estate is no different in that aspect. Estates as these encourage social intelligence and a sense of community at a young age, abiding to a norm that is known only to those who have lived so closely to your neighbours that they become an extended family of sorts.
To follow this colourful journey and understand the history behind the residents of the Cheltenham Estate.
A yearlong project and an opportunity to make a difference and develop key skills. Intrigued? We cordially invite young people of 13 – 25 years of age to participate in exploring the heritage of Goldfinger’s iconic estate. Young participants will have the opportunity to make a film, perform, put on an exhibition at the V&A, work with industry professionals including filmmakers, producers and architects all whilst gaining a qualification.
