Childsplay is an interactive journey through outdoor games across the ages. It explores the ways children have played outdoors from the 1950s to today. This coming of age story asks – have children’s games and imaginations really changed?
It premiered in 2011 and is back in London following a UK tour.
Childsplay got great press! Read EverythingTheatre’s and Third Age Matters’ enthusiastic reviews. The Times Educational Supplement ran a great feature on it. The show was part of The Independent’s Critic’s Choice in their Childrens’ section, featured by the Ham and High and pick of the week by Urban Explorer. The Guardian , Buzz newspaper and Time Out also recommended it for viewing. So did BBC news last year – when Total Theatre magazine and British Theatre Guide both loved it.
