SPID produces adventurous shows indoors and out, in which the audience is immersed in the world of the play, and often invited to participate.

Our current production is a programme of youth workshops called Kensal Voices which offer training in a range of design and journalism skills, in order to produce a magazine about the heritage of the historic Kensal Estate. You can read further details about it here.

Our current show is iAM, an experiential show about technology. Mixing interactive theatre, role-playing games and futuristic scenarios, iAM is a show which questions what communities have become in the digital age. iAM completed a tour of West London venues in mid-April, and is currently planning further performances. For more details, please visit the iAM page.

Our 2011 show, Childsplay, took audiences on an interactive journey through outdoor games across the ages, in Normand Park, West London.

For more information about Childsplay, or our other past productions, please click here . To speak to Director Rachel Grunwald about SPID’s professional work please email rachel@spidtheatre.com

In addition to our professional work, we create community shows in the same distinctive style, working with young people from Kensal House and other local estates. For more information about our youth theatre, please click here.
